چکیده
The paper reviews the results of experimental studies and thermodynamical modelling of metastable T –P diagrams of initially amorphous GaSb–Ge and Zn–Sb alloys which provide a new insight into the problem of pressure-induced amorphization.

Effect of Ni on Amorphization of Ti-Cu-Ni Ternary alloys Prepared by Mechanical alloying
Amorphous alloys has been taken into consideration because of their unique properties and are nominated as the future engineering materials. In this research, the effect of Ni and milling time on amorphization process and thermal stability of Ti50Cu50-xNix(x=10, 15, 25 at%) alloy system were investigated. The evolution of amorphization during milling, thermal stability and subsequent heat treat...
متن کاملPreparation of hydrogenated amorphous silicon tin alloys
2014 This paper describes a new method to obtain hydrogenated amorphous semiconductor alloys. The method is reactive co-evaporation. Silicon tin hydrogenated alloys are prepared under atomic hydrogen atmosphere. We discuss the influence of various parameters of preparation (hydrogen pressure, tungsten tube temperature, substrate temperature, annealing...) on electrical properties of samples. Re...
متن کاملPhase Transformation in Tantalum under Extreme Laser Deformation
The structural and mechanical response of metals is intimately connected to phase transformations. For instance, the product of a phase transformation (martensite) is responsible for the extraordinary range of strength and toughness of steel, making it a versatile and important structural material. Although abundant in metals and alloys, the discovery of new phase transformations is not current...
متن کاملAtom Probe Studies of Supercooled Liquids
Phase transformations in the supercooled liquid region (between T, and T,,,), prior to the onset of crystallization, in amorphous Pd-Ni-P alloys remain controversial. It has been previously proposed that the amorphous alloy decomposes into two amorphous phases prior to the crystallization reaction when annealed in the supercooled liquid region. Investigations by DSC, Mossbauer spectroscopy, X-r...
متن کاملThe Study of Transformations in Glassy and Crystalline Alloys Using Thermoelectric Power Measurements
Thermo-electric power (S) measurements were applied to detect the compositional change in (FeNi)80B20 glasses. It was found, that S does not alter monotonically with the Ni content, which hints to the existence of a hidden structural change in amorphous state. The S measurement was also applied to detect non-diffusive (martensitic) phase transformations in crystalline FeNi alloys.
